About
Russiantequila is maintained by me, Alex Pedenko.
I've been in software development for about 13 years, starting off on Borland Delphi, then spending about 4 years in Java and finally making the switch to .net around '03. This upbringing has made me an avid alt.net'er, as I have seen the same problems solved 15 different ways, and am a firm believer that there's not a single "right" solution, just a series of better ones.
My latest and greatest epiphany is that Dr. Frankenstein had it right - if a part fits well, use it. My projects of late have been about using the right technology for the right problem, and not worrying about platforms or conventions. If this means that half your stack is windows and half linux... so what? If it works, and makes sense, why does it matter?
and on that note... see ya on the blog!
